Introducing the PanL Project
We just published a new Open Source & Open Hardware project named PanL (pronounced panel). Its a customizable, mesh networked ambient display. It can be used to display all sorts of information like stocks, weather, email alerts, etc. Alerts can occur as patterns of light, sound, and/or text; it can be subtle and soothing or loud and jarring. Fat New Pipe
We just added a new dedicated host to our server farm with a fat (100mbit) new pipe to host all of our content. Enjoy the faster connections and downloads. Their a wonderful hosting company that supports many Linux distributions with excellent tech support and prices. We are very happy with their services so far (only a few days). dANN 1.3 Released
We just released version 1.3 of dANN. It consists of a few minor bug fixes with focus on the Neural Image Compression Example.
Released dANN 1.2
We finally released dANN version 1.2. Its got a ton of new features, much better API, and a full compliment of unit tests. Check out the dANN project page and send us an email if you have any feedback for us.

Syncleus Store Just Opened!

New Logo

New Look and Feel

Were back up
As many of you noticed the site was down for a while there. One of our databases became corrupt and we had a heck of a time restoring it. But its back up with no data loss. Its good to be back, and enjoy the site and all its sister sites.
New Version of dANN Released
We jsut released a new version of dANN, 0.1 alpha RC2. There are a lot of fundemental changes going on. The javadoc should reflect most of the changes, also the example code was updated to go with the new structure.
dANN released!
We just released dANN (short for Dynamic Artificial Neural Network). Its a project that has an Artificial Neural Network library. It will serve as a testing ground for bleeding edge ANN technology. However we wont exclude tried and true ANN algorithms either.
Sporkie released.
We just added the Projects section to the webpage along with our first new project. The project Sporkie, an e-mail spam filter, is our first project to be released under our new licenes. We released it under the Type C. It is only an alpha release, but hopefully with time we can make it stable. Visit the new project page by clicking here.
Moving the site over to java/jsp
We are in the process of moving the website over to java/jsp instead of straight html. This will allow the site to be edited and improved more quickly. The news script is now automated as well.
Licenses Released
We just released this web site to get our licenses out there in the public. The first version, up for peer review, has been placed on the site. It is still in the very early stages and would like to see some input form the community before people begin to use it.
Site Published
We just published the web site, its still rather empty but expect new content to fill its pages real soon.
